# Gilbert EmpCo > Gilbert EmpCo is an EU green-claims compliance scanner. It checks websites, product labels, and documents against EU Directive 2024/825 (the Empowering Consumers Directive, "EmpCo"), which is enforced since 27 September 2026 and bans vague or unsubstantiated environmental claims in B2C marketing. Gilbert EmpCo is built by Gilbert Regulatory Technologies B.V., a Dutch RegTech company. It returns a per-claim traffic-light verdict (red/amber/green), references the relevant article of the directive, and proposes compliant rewrites. Plans start at €12.50/month (Lite) up to Enterprise. ## Docs - [EmpCo Directive overview](https://empco.gilbert-regtech.eu/empco): What EU Directive 2024/825 prohibits, who it applies to, enforcement dates, and how Gilbert EmpCo maps to each article.
